Philippine Candidature to the UN CEDAW
The Philippine Commission on Women, together with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Presidential Human Rights Committee (PHRC) is pleased to invite government, women’s groups, and civil society organizations to submit nominations for the Philippine candidature to the UN Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) for the term 2017–2020.
Attached to this invitation for nominations are the following for your information and guidance:
- Terms of Reference for the Selection of the Philippine Candidate to the CEDAW
- Criteria for the Selection of UN CEDAW Expert (Annex A)
- Nomination Form for UN CEDAW Expert (Annex B
Fully completed nomination form and attachments must be submitted not later than midnight of 6 February 2015 with cover letter addressed to:
