GREAT Women Products in New York NOW’s Fair

abor of love and showcase of culture. The Great Women Project displays its wide array of products in the Artisan Resource Fair in New York (NY) on August 16-19, 2014. The Artisan Resource at NY NOW is a production-sourcing venue for overseas artisan enterprises to showcase their products and production capabilities at export terms from the country of origin. Artisan Resource connects US-based importers with international producers and exporters.

These handmade products were artistically crafted by women microentrepreneurs who were trained and capacitated under the Gender-Responsive Economic Actions for the Transformation of Women (GREAT Women) Project.

GREAT WOMEN Project is a governance and capacity development project led by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) which aims to promote and support a gender-responsive enabling environment for women’s economic empowerment (WEE), particularly those in microenterprises. Said project is technically and financially supported by the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada.
