Be one of the certified GAD Local Learning Hub


The Philippine Commission on Women is pleased to announce that the profiling for the second batch of potential LGU Local Learning Hubs on GAD is now ongoing.

The certification of GAD Local Learning Hub (LLH) is designed to institutionalize the sharing and replication of LGUs notable experiences and practices on gender mainstreaming.

As an initial step in the certification, the PCW will profile LGUs based on the following criteria:

  • Presence of GAD related policies/program;
  • Viability and replicability of GAD efforts;
  • Impact of the GAD efforts to the LGU and its constituents; and
  • Notable GAD efforts’ contribution to national plans, policies and programs.

Interested LGUs should fill-out and submit the LGU GAD Profile Form not later than August 15, 2015 through e-mail lgrp.tsd@gmail.com. The form may be downloaded from the PCW website.
