PCW to conduct GAD Planning and Budgeting Forum for government agencies

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) will hold a two day back-to-back Gender and Development (GAD) Planning and Budgeting Forum on November 7 and 8 at the Professional Development Center Auditorium, Commission on Audit in Quezon City.

The primary objective of the GPB forum is to orient national line agencies, attached offices, bureaus and GOCCs on Joint Circular 2012-01 or the Guidelines on the Preparation of the Annual GAD Plan and Budget and Accomplishment Report, in line with the preparation of 2015 GAD plan and budget of government agencies.

PCW will also discuss the Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS), a web-based system that automates the submission and monitoring of the GAD Plan and Budget, and GAD Accomplishment Report of various government agencies and LGUs.

The panelist from PCW will be joined by COA Assistant Commissioner Divina Alagon to discuss the GAD fund audit guidelines and provide clarification on questions regarding the use of GAD budget.
