PCW Opens Profiling of GAD Resource Pool Batch 7
The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) is now accepting applicants for the profiling of the seventh batch of the Gender and Development (GAD) Resource Pool (GR Pool).
A component of the National GAD Resource Program (NGRP), the GR Pool is composed of individual GAD Practitioners tapped by the PCW to provide Technical Assistance (TA) on GAD Mainstreaming to National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs). To date, PCW has certified 110 female and 22 male or a total of 132 GR Pool Members.
Interested GAD practitioners and sectoral GAD experts or trainers should fill out and submit the NGRP-GAD Resource Pool Profile Form (Form A) and GAD Capacity Assessment Form (Form B) to PCW through our email address at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax (02) 736-4449. The forms can be downloaded by clicking the download button below. Submissions will be accepted starting September 4 until October 31, 2018. Only applications received on or before October 31, 2018 will be considered for short listing.
Applicants to the GR Pool will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:
- Proven track record as GAD technical adviser or resource person;
- Availability to respond to TA requests on GAD;
- Availability to attend the leveling sessions and capacity development sessions for GR Pool members ;
- Vouched for/endorsed by other GAD experts or PCW officers/officials;
- Sectoral expertise and geographical location; and
- Previous engagement with PCW
The PCW Screening Committee will select from amongst the applicants, 25-30 qualified individuals/experts who will be invited to attend a four-day “Levelling and Learning Session on GAD Technical Assistance” which will be the final assessment prior to being invited to the Certification Ceremony of the seventh batch. The PCW will officially notify all concerned by December 2018.
