GAD Planning and Budgeting Fora for National Government Agencies, Attached Offices, Bureaus and Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations
The Philippine Commission on Women, will convene the Fifth GAD Budget Fora (5th GP Fora) on November 10 and 11, 2016 at Function Rooms A and B Ombudsman Main Building, Agham Road, North Triangle Quezon City.
The forum will serve as a venue to:
- Re-orient national line agencies, attached offices, bureaus and GOCCs on the Revised Guidelines on the Preparation of the Annual Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget and Accomplishment Report including the supplemental guidelines on the procedure of GPB submission through the use of Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS);
- Clarify issues and concerns encountered by agencies in the preparation and implementation of their annual GAD Plans and Budgets; and
- Present the guidelines in the audit of Gender and Development (GAD) Funds and activities in government agencies.
The GAD Budget Forum is expected to gather 500 participants from national government agencies, attached offices, bureaus, and government owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), Legislative and Judiciary Branches, Constitutional Bodies and other government instrumentalities.
In this regard, we invite agencies to send two representatives (preferably the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) TWG Chairperson and Budget Officer) to attend the GAD Budget Forum free of charge.
Agencies are encouraged to register early due to limited slots, Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Please submit the filled-out registration form to PCW via fax, email or register through the GAD Budget Forum Registration not later than November 4, 2016. Participant’s registration will be confirmed by an email or text message.
The target venue (Function Rooms A and B Ombudsman Main Building, Agham Road, North Triangle Quezon City) observes tight security measures, so please be advised that ONLY registered participants for the day will be allowed to enter the auditorium. WALK-IN participants will not be accepted. Please also note that parking space is exclusive to the employees of the office of the Ombudsman, participants are advised to park elsewhere.
