A VAW Desk in every barangay. National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO) Director John Castañeda (left) of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) presents the salient features of the “Guidelines in the Establishment of a Violence Against Women (VAW) Desk in Every Barangay.” Seated (from left) are officials of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), Department of Health (DOH), DILG, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Department of Education (DepEd) who signed the Joint Memorandum Circular of the Guidelines.
