First Regional Gender and Development Council Summit

Theme: Strengthening Regional Mechanisms for GAD Convergence

First Regional Gender and Development Council (RGADC) SummitThe Philippine Commission on Women is pleased to announce the “First Regional Gender and Development Council (RGADC) Summit” to be held on August 14-15, 2014 in Manila (venue details will be announced later). The Summit will gather the Chairpersons of all Regional Development Councils (RDCs) and Chairpersons plus one (1) member of all RGADCs/similar mechanisms.

With the theme “Strengthening Regional Mechanisms for GAD Convergence”, the RGADC Summit aims to provide an interactive platform for RDCs and RGADCs to share good practices and insights in strengthening and sustaining gender mainstreaming at the Regional and Local levels.
