e-VAW, Ano Raw? Forum



Philippine Commission on Women Executive Director Emmeline Verzosa (6th from left, 2nd row) and Philippine State College of Aeronautics President Dr. Bernard Ramirez (7th from left, 2nd row) lead the mentors of various public high schools and aeronautical colleges in Pasay City, in showing support for the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) during the “e-VAW, Ano Raw? Forum” on December 9, 2011 at the PhilSCA Training Center, Pasay City.


e-VAW and social networking. Ms. Lenlen Mesina of the Foundation for Media Alternatives emphasizes the presence of emerging forms of VAW in new media in social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to students during the “e-VAW, Ano Raw? Forum”.



  • What can I contribute to stop VAW? Everyone, including the youth, can also do their share in ending VAW as manifested by these students.
  • Youth pledges for e-VAW awareness. One of the many students who attended the “e-VAW, Ano Raw? Forum” shows e-VAW awareness.
