Cristita C. Triunfante

Commissioner for Education


Commissioner Cristita Triunfante is a certified National GAD Resource Pool Member of the Philippine Commission on Women from September 2015 to September 2018. She is an independent gender consultant of the Province of Albay and is the current Executive Director of Mayon Integrated Alternatives Services Incorporated, an NGO which spearheaded the implementation of the EU-funded Women’s Health and Safe Motherhood Project in the Province of Albay.

She was a Population Leadership Program Fellow of the Bill and Melinda Gates and Packard Foundation – Cohort 2006-2007 of the University of Washington, Seattle, USA where she also obtained her Certificate on International Health Program. She has a Masters degree in Education at Bicol University and earned units in Education in San Isidro College, Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

She graduated from San Isidro College with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Major in Economics, Cum Laude.
