7th National GAD Budget Forum for National Government Agencies (NGAs), Attached Offices, Bureaus, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs)

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) is pleased to invite GAD Focal Point System Members and Budget Officers (maximum of two participants per agency) of national government agencies (NGAs),  attached agencies, bureaus, state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned-and-controlled corporations (GOCCs) to attend the 2019 National GAD Budget Forum on September 6, 2019 (8:00 AM -5:00 PM) at a venue within Metro Manila. Final venue will be announced via PCW Facebook Page and PCW website.

The GAD Budget Forum will discuss and level-off concerns on the GAD Plan and Budget preparation, submission and endorsement following the issuance of PCW Memorandum Circular 2019-02: Preparation and Online Submission of Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets on August 1, 2019. The forum will also discuss and explain the process of formulation of GAD Agenda and the use of HGDG attribution to the GAD Budget.

Agencies that will participate are requested to accomplish an online registration form on or before August 28, 2019. Since the activity will be free of charge, confirmation will be on a first come, first served basis. Each registered participant will receive an email confirmation containing the activity guidelines on or before August 30, 2019.

Transportation costs and daily travel expenses of participants outside Metro Manila shall be charged to their respective agency GAD Budget. Regional line agencies, regional offices and district offices are not encouraged to attend the activity as PCW in partnership with different Regional Gender and Development Committees (RGADCs) will organize Regional GAD Budget Fora in different regions later this year.

Questions or clarifications regarding the GAD Budget Forum may be coursed through Ms. Elizabeth Omas-as or Mr. Kim Harold Peji of the PCW-Technical Services and Regional Coordination Division.
