The case study is on making enterprises resilient require environmental soundness and gender-responsiveness, through the PCW-developed tool Environment and Social Management Guidelines (ESMG) that pushes forward environmentally-sustainable and gender-responsive enterprises. Adopted in 2010, ESMG is a tool that aims to identify and address environmental problems that may be caused by establishing new and up-scaling enterprises.
