Job Summary: 

Specific Functions:

1.    Provide technical assistance in cascading the implementation of IACVAWC Strategic Plan in the regions through the RIACAT-VAWC and other local mechanisms;  
2.    Assist in monitoring the implementation of strategic plan and prepare corresponding report of assigned agencies;
3.    Draft/prepare technical documents:  
-    project/activity proposals,
-    concept notes
-    presentation materials, working documents, handouts etc.
4.    Help in organizing workshops/meetings;
5.    Take a lead role in documenting activities organized/led by the Secretariat;
6.    Assist in drafting other reportorial requirements of the IACVAWC;
7.    Assist the Team Leader in building partnership with related government agencies  and non-government organizations to meet the objectives of the council;
8.    Represent the secretariat in external meetings and activities as maybe assigned by her team leader or the Executive Director; and
9.    Supervise the work of the secretariat staff in the absence of the Team Leader.

Qualifications: 

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in any of the following social science-related courses: Sociology, Psychology, Community Development/Social Work, Women in Development, and other allied fields;
- At least two (2) years of professional experience in any of the following: development planning, monitoring and evaluation, project implementation, and other related experience;
- Preferably with experience in gender mainstreaming/gender and development, and familiarity with gender/women-related issues, particularly violence against women and other forms of gender-based violence;
- With excellent writing and oral communication skills;
- With experience in coordination and networking with project partners and stakeholders;
- At least 24 hours of relevant training;
- Knowledge and understanding of government planning process, an advantage;
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work on tight deadlines and can handle multiple tasks; and
- With tact and good rapport to people .

Salary: 

The Planning Officer III shall be paid a professional fee of One Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Four Pesos and Sixty Five Centavos (P 1,784.65) daily, subject to applicable mandatory government taxes.
