Job Summary: 

The GREAT Women Area Coordinator shall serve as the representative and focal person of the PCW-WEE Project in the implementation of the project in the assigned Region.  Specifically, he or she will perform the following functions:  

1.    Planning and Implementation Functions:
-    Provide technical assistance in the development of partners’ work plans to ensure its alignment with project’s target outputs and outcomes;
-    Assist in identifying issues in project implementation, and as applicable, raise these to the attention of the Industry Cluster Technical Working Group and the PMO for appropriate actions;
-    Facilitate partnerships or convergence among partner stakeholders in support of implementing the plan and achieving target objectives;
-    Facilitate efficient communication and coordination, and ensure effective working relationships with partners, WMEs and with the PCW-WEE PMO;
-    Assist the Industry Cluster Leads in project management in the area;
-    Participate in coordination meetings and activities organized by the partners;
-    Participate in project activities organized by the PCW-PMO;

2.    Monitoring and Evaluation Functions:
-    Guide partners in reporting and ensure their compliance with project monitoring and reporting requirements particularly in the submission of outputs, and liquidation of project fund support to the agency;
-    Review and evaluate reports from the partners and address any gaps before their final submission to PMO; and
-    Assist in the evaluation of the attainment of project results including local/area partnerships that are established and their contribution to overall project objectives.

 

Qualifications: 

- Can speak the local language;
- Graduate of any business management, entrepreneurship or relevant courses;
- Knowledge and experience working on women’s issues, gender and development, and on women economic empowerment;
- Background and experience in community organizing also an advantage;
- Some Experience in project management and monitoring and evaluation, of foreign assisted projects will be helpful;
- Good in networking/partnership building and has ability to establish good rapport;
- Good written and oral communication skills; and
- Familiarity with government program and administrative processes.

Salary: 

Forty-Two Thousand Pesos per month. Payment shall be processed and released on a monthly basis (subject to mandatory withholding tax)
