4th GAD Focal Assembly
Theme: Beyond Compliance: A Commitment to Gender-Responsive Governance
The Philippine Commission on Women is pleased to invite GAD Focal Point System members of national government agencies (NGAs), line and attached offices, bureaus, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), GOCCs, Legislative and Judiciary Branches, Constitutional Bodies and other government instrumentalities to attend the 4th GAD Focal Point Assembly with the theme “Beyond Compliance: A Commitment to Gender-Responsive Governance” to be held on September 9-10, 2014 (venue is outside Manila).
The event will serve as a venue to share the GAD efforts of GADtimpala awardees on Gender Mainstreaming, present and discuss the most recent GAD related policies and issuances and provide opportunity for hands–on exercise using the enhanced Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF), validate initial data of the MCW Baseline tool and level off on the use of Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS).
The cost of participation to the assembly is P 3,500 per person for live-in (triple sharing) and P 2,500 for live-out shall be shouldered by the agency, charged to the GAD budget. Please refer to the 4th GFP Assembly Brief and Administrative Note for further guidance.
